With 11 wins this year, the Cincinnati Bengals are the 'Bungles' no more. That follows 8 wins in 2004 and 8 wins in 2003, after 2 wins in 2002. Quite a resurgence after more than a decade of ineptitude. Praise for Marvin Lewis is well deserved; he has rejuvenate a perpetually dismal franchise with the help of a former USC Heisman winner, Carson Palmer, & Company.
They lost their starting quarterback in their playoff game this year and couldn't overcome that setback. They are still a bit green and lost to a seasoned Pittsburgh Steelers team. But watch out for them next year because the Bengals are on the rise (plus their defense and Rudi Johnson helped me win my fantasy football league so they have my personal gratitude).
