Think Of England (part 1)
Yesterday, Gordon Brown easily won the nomination of the Labour Party. Earlier this month, internal party angst about PM Tony Blair 's tenure forced him to set a date for departure (he said he'll step down within a year).
Mr. Brown's ascension to power is in no way assured, of course. David Cameron of the Conservative Party is his principal opposition.
