America's 38th President died the day after Christmas. As a solon who put national unity ahead of politics, Gerald Ford torpedoed his Presidential election by pardoning Richard Nixon, sparing the country from a vindictive political melee. In remembrance, I will share Mr. Ford's 1976 speech before the Republican National Convention.
