Alito, Part V: A Deceptive Liar?

The advertising blizzard has begun...

IndependentCourt.org has released an ad essentially calling Judge Alito a liar. The ad begins: "Americans believe if you give your word, you ought to keep it. And that’s what’s disturbing about George Bush’s Supreme Court pick, Samuel Alito."

Let's look to the non-partisan American Bar Association (ABA), an association which has evaluated judicial nominees' credentials for the last 50 years. Confidential interviews with hundreds of Judge Alito's colleagues and a thorough review of his writings elicited the unanimous opinion that Judge Alito is well-qualified.

So the question is "Who is IndependentCourt.org?"
The site is run by the Coalition for a Fair and Independent Judiciary. The members of this coalition include People for the American Way, the ACLU, the AFL-CIO, MoveOn PAC, The National Abortion and Reproductive Rights Action League, Pro-Choice America and other leftist groups.

MoveOn is my personal favorite. It's the hatchetman for the radical left. Their homepage currently reads: Samuel Alito. He's no moderate. To hide his extreme views, Supreme Court Nominee Samuel Alito has repeated deceived Congress and the nation.
"Samuel Alito. He's no moderate." actually appears twice (in big letters, side by side) on their homepage.

One of Judge Alito's deceptions involved Vanguard in Monga v. Ottenberg. In this case, Judge Alito was part of a three-judge panel which ruled UNANIMOUSLY. He then requested another three-judge panel re-hear the case; that panel UNANIMOUSLY ruled the same way.
ALITO, YOU DEVIOUS EXTREMIST! (jape)

I implore all readers to visit FactCheck.org for context on Judge Alito's 'lies'. The partisan groups have started their deception, STAY INFORMED.
