The New York Times filed suit against the National Security Agency in US District Court, in Manhattan. The publication believes the Freedom of Information Act entitles it to all internal memorandums, e-mails, and legal opinions related to the 'domestic spy' program. Further, the Times requested meeting logs, calendar items, and any notes related to the program.
