"Meaningful Consequences"

Background Information

VPOTUS has stated publicly that Iran will face "meaningful consequences" if it continues to defy the international community. Mr. Cheney was speaking to a pro-Israel lobbying group, the AIPAC (America Israel Public Affairs Committee). "For our part, the United States is keeping all options on the table. ... We will not allow Iran to have a nuclear weapon," Mr. Cheney said.

Perhaps threatening 'meaningful consequences' will prove effective. If not, 'serious consequences' will have to be discussed by the international community. Iran is a nation which A. supports terrorism logistically and financially, B. advocates the destruction a of a UN member state, C. and lied to the international community about its nuclear activity for twenty years. They can not be allowed to perpetually flaunt their international insubordination.

Lately, the world has preferred appeasement, but not the US. We displayed our moxie by defining 'serious consequences'.
