On December 15, 2005, Iraq held a parliamentarian election. Participation was 69.9% of the eligible voters. After thirty-five days, the results were tabulated. 108 days have passed and a government has not been formed.
Unrest in Iraq has been mischaracterized as a near civil war. Imagine the unrest in America if there was no clear winner almost four months after an election.
