Nanny, Where Are You?

A Rutgers study, done in 2003, shows Americans are eating larger portions than twenty years ago. Further, related studies indicate people eat more food when they are served larger quantities. During the early 90's, the standard restaurant plate grew from 10 to 12 inches which holds 25% more matter.

Where's the restrictions on portion size? Isn't obesity a pertinent American problem? Is it not corporate negligence which allows our gluttony? (jape)
