Republican Logic (Excluding Traditional Isolationists)

Speaking on the undeclared African battlefield of WWT: "The more I look at what is happening in Africa, in some of the worst trouble spots, in Sudan and Somalia and so on, the more I am convinced that if we do not take a responsible and long-term view of Africa and its need to develop and make progress then we will end up ultimately with our own self-interest back in countries like Germany and the UK being damaged as a result of the poverty, the conflict, the mass migration and the spread of terrorism," said Tony Blair.

Next, an article with great information and formulation, but an entirely wrong conclusion (but then again, I'm a moderate pragmatist in favor of true debate - meaning conceding an occasional point - and not an ideologue). John McCain is a consummate statesmen and epic patriot. He understands the difference between a well-trained volunteer force and uninspired conscripts not trained for their war-zone. He knows a defeated army is a broke force and we won't have 15-20 years to remake it.

True success in WWT will be passing 2011, 2016, or even 2021, without a terrorist attack on American soil. For popular credibility, an extended hiatus mandates that any attack be more devastating than the last. Until time has passed, no other tangible achievement will be evident to the public (how many Americans know the difference between Zarqawi and Zawahiri?), especially with security concerns limiting government revelations.
